Friday, May 3, 6:30 pm on the Lexington Battle Green (1625 Massachusetts Ave.). Free outdoor evening performance of fife and drum music at the scene of the first skirmish in the Revolutionary War. Hosted by the William Diamond Junior Fife & Drum Corps of Lexington and featuring corps including the Kentish Guards, one of the oldest fife and drum corps in the US, and the Middlesex County Volunteers Fife & Drum Corps. Followed on Saturday, May 4, by an all-day free fife and drum music festival (Muster) 12:00-4:00 pm in Hastings Park in Lexington.
