Join artist Kay WalkingStick and exhibition curator Wendy Nālani E. Ikemoto, Vice President and Chief Curator of the New-York Historical Society, for an engaging, informal conversation about the themes presented in Kay WalkingStick / Hudson River School. The exhibition, organized by New-York Historical Society, places landscape paintings by WalkingStick in conversation with 19th-century Hudson River School paintings, celebrating a shared reverence for nature while engaging crucial questions about land dispossession and its reclamation by Indigenous peoples and nations. This program is free but space is limited and registration is required. Event will be held in Kemper Auditorium, adjacent to the Addison.
