DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT OWNING AN ELECTRIC CAR? EVER WONDER WHAT IT’S LIKE TO DRIVE ONE? LEARN ABOUT THE FUN AND ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF DRIVING ELECTRIC FROM A LOCAL RESIDENT WHO OWNS ONE. TEST DRIVE A VARIETY OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN THE FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE OF ICONIC HERITAGE FARM ICE CREAM AND RESTAURANT. THERE WILL BE MUSIC, FOOD, KIDS GAMES, AND A CULTURAL FESTIVAL ACROSS THE STREET IN HERITAGE STATE PARK WHERE YOU CAN STROLL, JOG, SWIM, BIKE OR JUST HANG OUT.

Plug In America, the Sierra Club, and the Electric Auto Association have teamed up to organize plug-in parades, tailpipe-free tailgate parties, test-drives and many other grassroots activities that promote driving electric through National Drive Electric Week events. The goal of National Drive Electric Week is to get owners of plug-in cars together with the general public so that the general public can learn from the owners what plug-in cars are like in the real world. We hope that this will lead more people to think about working a plug-in vehicle into a future purchase.
