Show: THE 8TH ANNUAL GREATER LOWELL REGIONAL ART SHOW: INSPIRATION UNVEILED
Show dates: January 3 to January 26
Opening Reception: January 4 from 3-5 pm

“Inspiration Unveiled” illuminates where today’s students’ find reference and inspiration. Their artwork reflects student questions like “What’s important to me?”, “How can I show my passion?” and “Why does everyone need to know about this?”. Through the creative process they discover revelations, inspirations, insights and awakenings.

This regional art exhibit features student artists in the Greater Lowell area. Their teachers discussed the theme of the show with their students in early September and then work was created through the first semester. Students were encouraged to make their work with the show’s title and ideation in mind. However, each piece is individual and was not expected to be intentionally connected or series related. Their work incorporates what the students are experiencing. Because inspiration is personal to each piece, the students’ interests are presented throughout. Students are able to gain the experience of their own gallery exhibition while functioning as the expressive voices of tomorrow

Participating Schools include Innovation Academy Charter School, Billerica Memorial High School, Francis W Parker Charter High School, Groton-Dunstable Regional High School, Lowell High School, Lunenburg High School, Notre Dame Academy, and Tyngsborough High School.

The Loading Dock Gallery show, “Inspiration Unveiled”, will be on display January 3 through January 26, 2025, at the Loading Dock Gallery, 122 Western Avenue, Lowell, MA, Noon-5:30 pm, Wednesday-Saturday, until 4pm Sunday.
