The Whistler House Museum of Art (WHMA) is pleased to announce its upcoming Annual Juried Members Exhibition 2024. The show will run from November 16, 2024 to January 25, 2025. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, November 16, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Parker Gallery.
The Lowell Art Association, Inc. (LAA) is the oldest incorporated art association in the country. In this year’s Annual Juried Members Exhibition, explore works of art from the artist members of the LAA in a wide range of subjects, styles, and mediums. Through paintings, drawings, sculpture, fiber art, printmaking, and photography, experience the world through varying perspectives in this exciting new show.
The juror is Stephen Mishol, Chair for the Department of Art & Design at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Mishol holds a BFA and MFA in Painting from the Massachusetts College of Art.
He is a recipient of a Fulbright Research Grant, Artist Resource Trust Grant, and two Mass Cultural Council Artist Fellowships. His work is included in the permanent collections of the DeCordova Museum, Boston Public Library, Fidelity Investments of Boston, and many private collections. Mishol is also a co-founder of the Arts Research Collaborative in Lowell, MA.
