What: Witches’ Night Out for the Arts is an adult FUNdraiser to support the Chelmsford Center for the Arts. Get into the Halloween Spirit with a night of fun! Enjoy music, shopping, photography opportunities, snack and maybe even get a drink from their cash bar! Be sure to be in for a night full of surprises! Costumes are welcomes but not required.

What: Join us for this special Halloween event! Take a tour through historic Sleepy Hollow Cemetery with a Concord Museum guide. Learn about the lives and deaths of past Concordians through stories passed down through the generations. Concord Museum Members: $5 per person; Non-Members: $10 per person. Register online

What: Halloween tales. Join The Guild of Historic Interpreters in a very spooky, candle-lit setting for an evening of traditional New England ghost stories. For families with young children we are offering a special, less scary lantern walk at 5:30 p.m. followed by stories in the barn. The walk will gather at the Hartwell Parking Area. The regular story-telling program will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Hartwell barn, appropriate for ages 7 and up. Please bring a flashlight for the walk from the Hartwell parking area to the barn.

Our "Horror Below" Movie Night guarantees scares and screams with a film showing of the terrifying creature feature "The Descent." To warm your bones, we'll have hot mulled cider available for purchase as well as all your favorite movie candy. We'll even provide chairs for your seating enjoyment, but we highly recommend bringing your OWN pillows, blankets, or outdoor lawn chairs for optimum cozy movie comfort. But keep your wits about you -- creatures of the night just love disturbing an audience ...Advance tickets: $6.00/pp and at the Door: $8.00/pp

What: The performance is based on the original production "Slaughterhouse," by Norman Robbins.  In the story, Romney Marsh, former king of the stage, invites a select group from his latest production to his manor. However, someone is harboring a dark secret that threatens the lives of all the guests.  When the weekend takes a dark turn, the party begins to feel more like the plot from one of his horror plays.  Will they be able to solve the mystery before it is too late? Tickets for the event are $75, and can be ordered online at: www.middlesex.mass.edu/mystery. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.  There will also be a cash bar.

Panic in the Dark
When: Saturday, November 5th 5:00pm for Family Fear 5K and 5:30pm for 18+
What: PANIC In The Dark is a 5K Nightmare Family Fear Run and Obstacle Run.…in the DARK!  Throughout the course you will encounter haunted areas and of course Zombies, who eagerly await your arrival!!  Panic in the Dark will put you in the middle of your Worst Nightmare and favorite Horror Flicks!

What: Witch’s Woods is open Thursday-Sunday nights in October. With over 200 characters on the grounds, you’ll be in for a scare! New this year is “Vampire Passage” an attraction that revolves around a box that’s tightly wrapped in chains and locks. Legend has it that the box contained the remains of a legendary female vampire. Tickets are on sale from 6:30pm-10:30 pm at Witch’s Woods or online. Admission is $37.00
