1. Brew’d Awakening Coffeehaus

In addition, you can find breakfast sandwiches, acai bowls, salads, smoothies, and more. And you can even grab a coffee house cocktail (21+) if you’d like an extra kick in your coffee. Brew’d also hosts various events, such as poetry open and slam nights within their cozy, welcoming shop that will have you visiting regularly.

2. Nibbana Cafe

With a focus on building strong community bonds and relationships in addition to crafting delicious locally-sourced coffee beverages, the Nibbana Cafe is a BIPOC family dedicated to creating a welcoming, warm, and cozy cafe experience that everyone can enjoy.

Here, you’ll explore unique coffee flavors crafted using a variety of unique methods, such as pour-over single-origin, house blend, Cafe Au Lait, americano, cold brew, and more. The menu also includes plenty of special items to try, such as the Effespresso, an espresso topped with whipped egg and condensed milk, coffee blends from Vietnam, and treats, such as an Almond Joy Cold Brew. Nibbana’s menu also features breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and fruit teas.

3. Tiny Arms Coffee

Want to do some local shopping while drinking a delicious warm beverage? Tiny Arms Coffee & Ceramics has it all!

Located at the historic Western Avenue in Lowell, Massachusetts, this coffee and ceramic shop has so much to explore. Alongside the 300 artists within the Western Avenue mill, Tiny Arms offers its guests the opportunity to take home handcrafted ceramic mugs and more that provide a vibrant alternative to your everyday coffee mug. The shop also offers take-home specialty coffee roasted right here in Lowell. 

And, at their Western Avenue Espresso Bar, you’ll find a seasonal menu filled with coffees brewed to order and espresso drinks (with or without milk). Here, artists and locals gather to share stories, inspirations, and more in a safe, creative environment.  

4. Coffee And Cotton

For a truly unique and historical coffee experience, you will definitely want to visit Coffee and Cotton, located at Mill No. 5 in Downtown Lowell. Coffee and Cotton’s menu features freshly baked bagels, doughnuts, biscuits, cookies, and more, all made from scratch. In addition, the cafe also offers guests various grilled cheeses, sandwiches, and soups to choose from.

Coffee and Cotton has a great selection of hot coffees, americanos, Cafe Au Lait, espresso shots, and more when it comes to coffee. The menu also includes direct trade cold brew, nitro cold brew, specialty lattes, matcha lattes, various teas, and more. The cafe is also dog and cat friendly!
