Lowell, MA: Artist’ Working Group presents Denise Manseau as the next artist in their ongoing Speaker Series. Manseau will talk and show slides of recent work on Tuesday evening, 7:30 until 9:30 pm, April 18 at the ALL Gallery, 307 Market Street, Lowell.

Denise Manseau is a painter and print-maker and a founding member of the Arts Research Collaborative, a space for printmaking and studios located on Prescott Street in the heart of the downtown Lowell.

Exploring line, whether drawn, painted, cut, printed, traced or implied is the scaffold upon which much of Manseau’s work is constructed. “Between Wind and Water” will allow us to hear the artist’s voice behind the work and the motivation for her investigations of transitory relationships in nature.

The Artists’ Working group seeks to examine the work of regional artists in this series which focuses on the process of artmaking and the motivations of working artists.

There will be time time after the presentation for questions, discussion and light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.
