What: August is quilt and textiles month in historic Lowell, America’s first industrial textile manufacturing city. Downtown Lowell First Thursday’s August 2 theme is quilts and textile art. Participating venues will feature a variety of quilt & textile art shows, exhibits and demonstrations from 5 – 9 pm. Pick up your First Thursday street map at any participating gallery or restaurant and join us for art, food, drinks and fun on foot.
