“Family Trees” opens at Rasmussen Education Center

The 23rd Annual Family Trees

Where: Concord Museum, 200 Lexington Road, Concord, MA 01742

When: November 21, 2018 – January 1, 2019; 10 am – 4 pm daily; closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas. (Please visit the Concord Museum’s website to confirm dates and hours of operation.)

What: In addition to the 31 trees and wreaths all fancifully decorated in the themes of children’s books, visitors will also be able to see over 100 Highlights of the Concord Museum on display in the Education Center-including artifacts like Paul Revere’s lantern and Louisa May Alcott’s small copper tea kettle, she took with her to Washington while serving as a nurse in the Civil War.

Special Display: In celebration of the 150th anniversary of Louisa May Alcott’s book “Little Women”, Family Trees is dedicating two trees based on her works- “Little Women” and “Flower Fables”.
