The Greater Merrimack Valley has tons of fun activities for your kids! From mini-golf to escape rooms to bowling, there’s no shortage of ways to keep the family entertained and active.

Merrimack Valley Pavilion

With high-energy kids, you want activities that will give them plenty of options and opportunities to run around and play. Merrimack Valley Pavilion has established itself as a family entertainment center to remember! Mini-golf, laser tag, arcade games, and a ropes course offers the variety you’ll need to keep the whole family happy.

See a life-sized gorilla perched high above the Tiki-Island mini-golf course. Play Laser Tag in the glow in the dark jungle. Kids can test their climbing skills on The Vines ropes challenge course. Take home cool prizes from games in the newly modeled arcade. 

Heritage Farm Ice Cream & Restaurant

Want to treat your kids to some great local flavor? Heritage Farm Ice Cream & Restaurant was established in 1976 but was founded as Glennies Ice Cream in 1936. This gives the place the feel of a classic ice cream parlor, complete with old-fashioned favorites.

Kids can chow down on banana splits, sundaes, and malted frappes. They’ll have lots of fun ice cream flavors to choose from, including strawberry cheesecake, campfire s’mores, and chocolate overload. If they’re feeling adventurous, they can go for the Concoctions or Heritage Farm’s own ice cream creations. These include the bananarama shake, frosted brownie delight, creamsicle, and PB&J split.

Wamesit Lanes Family Entertainment Center

If your kids love bowling, Wamesit Lanes Family Entertainment Center is the perfect place to hit the lanes! Offering both Tenpin and Candlepin lanes – complete with bumpers for children – you can make it a family occasion as you compete with each other.

Whether you get a strike or a spare, you can relax with food and drinks as you bowl as each lane has a comfortable seating area. If the kids aren’t ready to go home after bowling is done, pop over to the arcade! With 60+ games ranging from the classics to the latest hot games, there’s something for everyone.

Escapology of Merrimack Valley

If you have kids who love puzzles or teens who want an adventure, Escapology is the solution. Recommended for kids eight and up, it’s great for adults as well! The whole family will get 60 minutes to complete their mission in a private, themed room, Find hidden clues, crack codes, solve puzzles, and escape before time runs out!

There are tons of cool games to choose from, but for family fun, go with the Scooby-Doo and the Spooky Castle Adventure. Team up with Mystery Incorporated as you explore the castle and work together to solve puzzles. Your kids will feel like super sleuths as they track down the culprit, and you’ll leave with a great team photo to take home after you escape.
