JIMMY TINGLE – “JIMMY TINGLE FOR PRESIDENT”
As the upcoming 2016 Presidential election season unfolds against the backdrop of Donald Trump on the right and Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders on the left, Jimmy Tingle has constructed another hilarious, thought-provoking and politically charged one-man show, based on his 2016 run for the presidency.  As the founder of Humor for Humanity, Tingle is running on his comedic record.  His campaign underlines his passion and creative thinking on every issue the next president must grapple with; from money in politics and free speech to climate change, immigration, gun safety and technology.  Despite the seriousness of the issues confronting America and the world, Jimmy Tingle for President IS the Funniest Campaign in History! This November remember to vote Jimmy Tingle for President!  Come see why he deserves your vote, and your laughter, on Saturday, September 24th at Cary Hall

Jimmy Tingle is a comedian, commentator, activist and entrepreneur. He is a 2010 graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and was that year’s graduate school commencement speaker. He has worked as a humorist and commentator for 60 Minutes II and MSNBC and has appeared on The Tonight Show, CNN, Conan O’Brien, Fresh Air with Terry Gross and in his own HBO half-hour comedy special. Theatrical credits include four one-person shows. He also wrote and produced his first documentary film, Jimmy Tingle’s American Dream, which aired on PBS and is now available on DVD. Born in Cambridge, Tingle has the rare distinction of winning Boston magazine’s “Best of Boston” in two different categories, for “stand-up comedy” and “best alternative theater” for the venue he founded in 2002, Jimmy Tingle’s OFF BROADWAY Theater. His newest project is a social enterprise and solo show entitled “Humor for Humanity” which aspires to raise spirits, funds and awareness for non profits, charities and social causes. More information at www.jimmytingle.com.

REDUCED SHAKESPEARE COMPANY – THE ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS SHOW (abridged)
Welcome to the Annual Holiday Variety Show and Christmas Pageant at St. Everybody’s Non-Denominational Universalist Church, where all faiths are welcome because we’ll believe anything. But there’s a problem: None of the acts scheduled to perform have arrived, so the three members of the Reduced Shakespeare Company are pressed into service to perform the entire Variety Show and Christmas Pageant by themselves.

LEARN! How Santa saved Christmas!
SING! The Ultimate Reduced Christmas Carol!
CELEBRATE! Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Saturnalia!
CRINGE! At the origin of the term “Nutcracker!”
MEMORIZE! New lyrics to “The 12 Days of Christmas” with iPads, not Lords A Leaping!
GASP! At the shocking history of our best-loved Christmas traditions!

“For those of you who can’t take one more Christmas Carol or Miracle on 34th Street–style homage to the wonder of the season, the Reduced Shakespeare Company has your antidote, with an irreverent look at the holidays.” – St. Louis Magazine

Since its pass-the-hat origins in 1981, the Reduced Shakespeare Company has created ten world-renowned stage shows, two television specials, several failed TV pilots, and numerous radio pieces, all of which have been performed, seen, and heard the world over. The company’s itinerary has included stops off-Broadway, at the White House, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, London’s West End, Seattle Repertory Theatre, American Repertory Theatre and Montreal’s famed Just For Laughs Festival, as well as performances in Israel, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Malta, Singapore and Bermuda, plus countless civic and university venues throughout the USA, the UK, and Europe. http://www.reducedshakespeare.com/
