LOCATION: We are located at 177 Main Street (Route 27) Acton, MA 01720. Look for Bessie the Dinosaur in our front yard!
DESCRIPTION: Your NEW museum is ready! Join us to play, explore, and learn in our expanded, completely renovated, ADA-compliant new building! New STEAM (science-technology-engineering-art-math) experiences and reimagined visitor favorite exhibits related to Water, Air, Inventing & Tinkering, Sound, Early Learning, Simple Machines, Imaginary Play, Building & Engineering, and more await you. Join us for a hands-on activity in our new classroom space from 11am to 2pm. Children 12 and under will be admitted free all weekend. Ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon on Saturday, March 3rd. Come play in your new museum!
EVENT SPACE: Birthday Parties will be available beginning March 1st, 2018!
If your child loves to explore, experiment, and play, a birthday party at the Discovery Museum is the perfect way to mark the occasion. Party guests can explore the museum and Discovery Woods, our outdoor and fully-accessible nature playscape and 550-square foot treehouse! Discovery Woods is open year-round.
