Lowell Folk Festival

General admission is free.
What: The 33rd Annual Lowell Folk Festival serves as the longest running free folk festival in the country. Along with musical acts from across the world, the festival also includes a global food selection, arts, crafts, workshops, and culture throughout the backdrop of the Lowell National Historical Park.
Throughout the month of July, we’ll take a closer look at what to expect from the Lowell Folk Festival. This week, we take a look at the food demo schedule on Saturday and Sunday at Lucy Larcom Park:
Noon: West African chicken stew – Charles Coe
1:00pm Asian Indian fish curry – Swati Chalke
2:00pm Greek fish plaki – Eleni Zohdi
3:00pm Wampanoag wild rice & fish salad – Patricia James-Perry
4:00pm Hungarian Jewish chicken soup – Frankie Lieberman
