In partnership with the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism, we are excited to announce the My Local MA campaign.
This statewide campaign encourages consumers to support their local economies by spending their money at Massachusetts businesses and attractions, safely – in person, online, and using curbside pickup or takeout. The goal is to make the case that when we all buy local, we’re doing our part to preserve the Massachusetts we know and love. It’s about enjoying what you love about our state while taking responsibility: for your quality of life, for your family, for your neighbors. We are also emphasizing the need to shop, dine, and travel safely, which includes “masking up” when you visit these local businesses.
The campaign will run through the end of the year across social media, digital ads, digital billboards, TV, radio, and print. We also have a campaign website – FindMyLocalMA.com – where we invite consumers and members of the business community to learn more about our mission and access downloadable badges and resources.
We would love for you to share our campaign inviting you to the visit our website FindMyLocalMA.com and downloading assets (a toolkit is on the website) for use in their own business space, website, or social media.
Here’s the basic ask for our local business community:
- Hang the flyer in the toolkit in your business
- Use the logo on social media and on your websites
- Use the #mylocalma (and #maskupma) hashtags in their social media posts
