Lowell, Mass. (April 25, 2014) – The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau unveiled its completed redesigned website on Monday, April 21, 2014. The new site offers a comprehensive overview of the region, with enhanced search functions and dedicated sections for dining, lodging, event planning and special areas of interest.

The new site showcases a huge range of attractions to appeal to any visitor, including sports, museums, parks, shopping, health spas and more. Whether a visitor is planning family vacation, wedding or corporate meeting, the site offers recommendations to make every event a success.

In addition to attracting tourists, the bureau hopes to attract repeat visitors to the site with an ever-changing listing of fairs, festivals, and exhibits that will appeal to local residents as well as those visiting from further away.

“The Greater Merrimack Valley is such a vibrant region,” says Deb Belanger, executive director of the bureau. “We needed a website to highlight everything we have to offer, and we think this new site delivers. It makes it easy for users to find what they’re looking for—and maybe a little something extra that they didn’t even think about.”
