Chelmsford Center for the Arts

LOCATION: We are conveniently located in the center of Chelmsford, Massachusetts. FREE Parking is located in the CCA Parking Lot at all times, at 9 North Road evenings and weekend, and in the Municipal Parking Lot behind Santander Bank.
DESCRIPTION: The Chelmsford Center for the Arts located in historic Town Hall is Chelmsford’s only public art institution.
Opened on November 7, 2009, it is the home to the CCA Gallery, Artists-in-Residence Studios, Applause Academy, All the World’s a Stage Players, Chelmsford Art Society, Chelmsford Community Band, Chelmsford Community Jazz Band, Chelmsford Players, Toastmasters, and Illumination Opera.
A historic building in the heart of Chelmsford has found new life as the Chelmsford Center for the Arts (CCA). From 1879 to 1981, the Old Town Hall played a traditional role for local residents as the center of the town’s government. After 1981, the building was used as a community center, for office space and as a charter school.

CCA offers a variety of space options to host your next function.
We have four event spaces perfect for birthday parties, showers, social, and corporate events:
- Cabaret Cafe – seats 50 at cafe tables, can accommodate more reception style, and up to 72 seated formally at 60″ rounds
- Seminar Room – conference table with screen
- Gallery – only rented with approval of Curator
- Veterans Memorial Auditorium – seats 200 in rows, 112 at 60″ rounds without dance floor
