LOWELL, MA- Come explore your neighborhood national park and enjoy free admission to the Boott Cotton Mills Museum on Saturday, September 22! National Public Lands Day is all about celebrating our nation’s special places — including Lowell, its dynamic past, and vibrant present. In addition, the Park celebrates Museum Day with the Smithsonian Institution. See where your curiosity leads you this Museum Day.

Experience the roar of a 1920s weave room and hands-on exhibits exploring Lowell’s extraordinary industrial legacy at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum. While you’re visiting Lowell National Historical Park, discover two centuries of hard work and innovative engineering on a ranger led Canal Tour (fees apply), on Friday afternoons and weekends only to Columbus Day, October 8, 2018.
