LEXINGTON, MA – Spectacle Management is proud to welcome world renowned acrobatic group The Chinese Warriors of Peking, Friday, October 26 at 7 pm at Cary Hall in Lexington. This new production is filled with high-intensity martial arts and breath-taking acrobatics, set during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), to tell the tale of two rival martial arts disciplines competing in the ancient Chinese capital of Peking. Under the direction of Qui Jian, the Chinese Warriors of Peking provides a culturally enriching experience filled with juggling, acrobatics, weapons handling, and live stage combat. CHINESE WARRIORS OF PEKING
Founded in 1958 by a group of Chinese acrobats and martial artists, the Chinese Warriors of Peking have spent the past two decades touring around the world and impressing audiences and performance companies alike. The Chinese Warriors of Peking’s  impressive acrobats caught the attention of  the American UniverSoul Circus with their performance of Pagoda of Bowls, and the group was selected to tour around the United States with the American UniverSoul Circus for over ten months. Additionally, the company’s Slack Wire act was picked by Cirque du Soleil and has toured with Cirque du Soleil around the world. The Chinese Warriors of Peking have over ten awards from the Shandong Provincial Acrobatics and Magic Competition. Most notable of these awards are their four first place awards for their Bicycle and Slack-line routine, Bicycle routine, Stacking Chairs routine and their Swinging Poles routine.

CARY MEMORIAL HALL
The Cary Memorial Building is a historic structure located in Lexington Center at 1605 Massachusetts Avenue. The Cary Memorial Building, named for Isaac Harris Cary, was built in 1928 with a donation from his two daughters. The Colonial styled building, with its grand auditorium, has provided the community with a year-round site for musical programming and popular events for eighty years and is home to the Lexington Symphony.  The building is handicapped accessible, and is fully air-conditioned. www.caryhalllexington.com
