Teacher Appreciation Open House at the Tsongas Industrial History Center
Lowell, Massachusetts. — Educators of all grades are invited to “mill around” at a Teacher Appreciation Open House at the Tsongas Industrial History Center on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Participants can try hands-on activities and preview the TIHC’s new curriculum-based activities for the 2016-2017 school year. The event’s activities demonstrate how the Center’s programs serve multiple grade levels and content areas in both history and science.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served, and educators may enter a drawing for a free Tsongas Industrial History Center full-day field-trip program (a $225 value). Teachers who bring a colleague from another grade or subject receive an additional entry in the drawing.
