CONCORD, MA— The Town of Concord is excited to announce the new “Concord Trolley” is up and running. Traveling on a loop throughout the day, the trolley provides visitors and locals alike the chance to travel around Concord between Town centers and to historic sites without the need for a car. Timed around the MBTA commuter rail station stops, people looking to visit Concord will be able to travel from 9:00AM to 4:00PM seven days a week to five historic stops, Concord Center, and West Concord Center.
Join us for this pilot project, operating now through mid-November, and ride for FREE and explore Concord using this convenient hop-on hop-off fully ADA accessible shuttle bus to visit the Concord Visitor Center, Concord Museum, Meriam’s Corner, Orchard House, North Bridge and Minuteman National Historical Park, West Concord Train Station and more!
With a bike rack installed mid-July, people are encouraged to bring a bike with them or rent one using the Town’s bike share program to further explore Concord or visit nearby attractions. A web-based app has been created to help visitors and locals alike explore the area and view other destinations that are close to each trolley stop. Trolley tracking will soon be available to help patrons learn where the trolley is on its loop and best plan their travels.
The community is thrilled to provide this service to all! Please go to visitconcord.org/visit/trolley for the most up to date information and ideas to explore the area!
