LOWELL, MA – The Lowell Food + Wine Festival is proud to announce details for its three days and three nights of culinary events. Scheduled for September 8 to 10, 2016, the 3rd annual festival which is presented by Merrimack Valley Magazine and Made In Lowell, will return to beautiful downtown Lowell for a culinary celebration like no other. “The Lowell Food & Wine Festival 2016 is loaded with fun events” says Gabby Davis, Director of Operations for Made In Lowell. “From local chefs to large wineries, there is something for every ones taste bud.”
Highlights of the festival include Food Truck Madness, a Food Truck Event held Friday, September 9, 2016 on Kerouac Park in Lowell, followed by the The Grand Tasting, Saturday, September 10, 2016 on Middle Street in Downtown Lowell, featuring a total of 45+ restaurants, breweries, wineries and distillers.
Celebrity host Jenny Johnson will host the 2nd annual Lowell chopped competition during The Grand Tasting where Chef Scott Pelletier of Fuse Bistro will defend his title from 2015.
