The Revivalists on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 7:30 pm. After 10 years on the road, the New Orleans-based septet The Revivalists scored a game-changing hit with “Wish I Knew You,” a wistful song from their third album. Their name heralds their hometown’s rebounding from the devastation of Katrina. Their latest songs are “Monster” and “Keep Going.” More info at http://www.therevivalists.com/. B enkadi (which means “Coming Together Sweetly” in the Bamanankan language of Mali) is an eclectic group of artists and educators dedicated to performing and teaching African dance and musical forms.

The Series
The 2018 Season of the Lowell Summer Music Series is its 29th year of presenting national recording artists in a beautiful outdoor setting near an historic textile mill and boardinghouse. Known as Boarding House Park, it is located at 40 French Street, Downtown Lowell, MA, right in front of the Lowell National Historical Park’s Boott Cotton Mills Museum. Patrons bring lawn chairs and blankets to view the show from the lawn. Premium Seating provides a chair in the first few rows right in front of the stage. The Series features 16 evening concerts. VIP Parking is available on a limited basis in the lot closest to the venue entrance for just $27. The Series benefits from a portion of the income.
