Verrill Farm Welcomes the New Year with
Grand Re-opening of Renovated Farm Stand

Concord, MA – December 20, 2016 —  On Saturday, January 14, Verrill Farm celebrates the grand re-opening of the stand following several weeks of construction.  Festivities include tastings from our own kitchen and bakery, vendors offering samples of products, and spinning a wheel to win Verrill Farm prizes!   Customer will also find their favorites filling the shelves from produce and local cheeses to prepared foods and sweet treats.     

‘Our original farm stand was built in 1995 and rebuilt in 2009.  Since then, customer demand for both farm grown produce and prepared foods from our stand kitchen has stretched the limits of the building so we made the decision to expand,’  says farm owner Steve Verrrill‘The expansion will provide more space for all that we sell and provide our customers with an improved shopping experience.  We look forward to welcoming everyone on the 14th for the re-opening!’

The re-opening coincides perfectly with comfort food season. As the fields rest, Verrill Farm’s kitchen crew is busy making foods to go for the deli and take out case.  Choose from meat loaf, mashed potatoes, roast chicken, mac ‘n’ cheese and other entrées then add a sweet treat from the bakery for a perfect winter meal. 

Other comforting options include
• made to order hot sandwiches from the deli
• two daily, made-from-scratch, hot soup specials to eat at the stand or back at your desk or home. The daily specials and several others will also be in our case to take home and warm before serving.
• breakfast sandwiches – Saturdays and Sundays 9 – 11 am
A made to order bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on an English muffin wrapped to go for     only $3.95.
• Hot BBQ Dinner – Thursdays from 4 – 6 pm
Pulled pork prepared in Verrill Farm’s own smoker, packaged with cole slaw & beans         for $8.50.

The kitchen team at Verrill Farm is cooking up winning finger foods to enjoy while watching post-season games and the Super Bowl.  Selections are available first-come, first-served.

January hours:  9:00 am – 7:00 pm Mon – Sat  •  9:00 am – 5:00 pm Sun  
December 31:  9:00 am – 4:00 pm  •  Closed New Year’s Day.
