Join and Celebrate. Volunteer at Minute Man National Historical Park and be part of the National Park Service Centennial
Concord, MA. TheNational Park Service is the nations premier conservation agency and will celebrate 100 years in 2016. We need you to lend your talents to tell visitors from around the world who come to visit Minute Man National Historical Park all about this special place. At Minute Man National Historical Park, we have many different volunteer opportunities from which to choose: visitor center guide, North Bridge interpreter, education program assistant, Battle Road Trail guide, witness house guide, living history interpreter, interpretation intern, and trail clean-up crew, to name a few.
If you have a week, a month, a summer or more, you can:
•join the Centennial Celebration of the NPS
•volunteer your talents in everything from photography to gardening
•welcome visitors from all over the country and the world to the birthplace the United States
•expand your social network by meeting park rangers, other volunteers and members of our Friends group
•take an active role in preserving national treasures like Concord’s North Bridge and the Battle Road Trail
•share your love of American history with the public
•have fun while doing something worthwhile

How to Apply
If this sounds right for you, we welcome your application and would like to meet you. Applications are available for pick-up at either park Visitor Center. You can download a volunteer application from our website or request an application by email from Roger_Fuller@nps.gov or by phone (978) 318-7824, our park Volunteer Coordinator. All volunteer (non-intern) applications for the summer season must be received by May 18, 2016, and those for the fall must be received by September 2, 2016. All volunteers attend an orientation training session for the park: dates are on the website.
The availability of volunteer positions will vary according to staffing levels and workloads in the park.No park housing and no trailer pads are available at the park. Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from the park and between duty stations within the park.
