Description: The Whistler House Museum of Art is committed to preserving the birthplace of James McNeill Whistler, one of America’s premier artists; raising awareness in the Greater Merrimack River Valley about the history of the house itself and the works of its original residents, innovators of the American Industrial Revolution; and, educating the public about 19th century American art and promoting current research and exhibitions related to Whistler, the house, Lowell and regional artists.

Admission:

Docent-led tours: Adults $12, Seniors $10, Students $7.

Self-tour: Adults $8, Seniors and Students $7.

Children under 12 and Museum members get in free.

Hours:

Wednesday through Saturday, 11am to 4pm.

Pending docent availability, Guided Tours are offered daily from Wednesday through Saturday at 12pm and 2pm.
