Keith Vaske

Keith oversees all day-to-day operations and event bookings at the 7,500-seat Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell, where he has been instrumental in driving both the venue’s growth and its community impact. His role extends beyond Lowell, providing regional support to the Ryan Center & Boss Ice Arena at the University of Rhode Island, as well as the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, ME. Under Keith’s leadership, the Tsongas Center has welcomed nearly 5 million guests for concerts, sporting events, family shows, and various community and university-related activities. His tenure has been marked by a significant increase in event traffic, boosting both the City of Lowell and UMass Lowell’s profile. Keith has also spearheaded a series of critical facility upgrades, including the renovation of five premium suites, modernization of the Men’s and Women’s Basketball locker rooms, numerous enhancements to the Men’s Hockey facilities, and upgrades to the Production Control Room, audio system, and HVAC infrastructure. These improvements have ensured that the Tsongas Center remains a state-of-the-art venue. Notably, Keith played a pivotal role in bringing PWHL Boston and the Massachusetts Pirates to the Tsongas Center as new tenants, enriching the entertainment offerings available to the Greater Merrimack Valley region.With over 20 years of industry experience, Keith’s career includes roles such as Event Manager at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, IA; Director of Operations at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, MO; and Director of Stadium Operations for the Quad City River Bandits in Davenport, IA. Keith is dedicated to continuing the Tsongas Center’s success, bringing innovative and exciting opportunities to the citizens and businesses of the Greater Merrimack Valley.
