Sandhya Iyer is the Economic Development Director for the Town of Lexington. She has a Master’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communications and Project Management from Northeastern University and has experience in Public Relations, Marketing, Films, and Radio production. Before joining the Town, she worked with the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, as part of the economic development funding arm of the Commonwealth that helps attract and retain life sciences companies. Sandhya leads the Tourism operations for the Town which attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year. She has been successfully marketing Lexington as a tourist and business-friendly destination. She is also part of the regional planning, promotion, and marketing efforts for the 250 th year of the American Revolution in 2025.
