CAAL Lunar New Year Celebration

Dragon, an emblem of strength, vitality, wealth, and auspiciousness in Chinese culture, symbolizes the start of a vibrant and prosperous 2024, the Year of the Dragon! The Lunar New Year Spring Festival, joyously celebrated by Chinese, Korean among other Asian communities worldwide, has become a part of Lexington’s rich cultural heritage. Lexington Historical Society is honored to participate this year to demonstrate historic dances and the importance of Chinese culture and art in colonial America!
