Children’s Services of Roxbury (CSR) is thrilled to welcome the renowned Reverend Liz Walker as a featured guest in its ROXTalks series. On Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 12 to 1 p.m., CSR President and CEO Sandra M. McCroom and Rev. Walker will explore the connections between trauma and economic mobility through a virtual community conversation. All are welcome to join this free event by registering at http://bit.ly/4o3I2LG.

At a time when communities of color are reeling from trauma and economic hardship, this episode of CSR’s ROXTalks series is particularly well-timed and especially vital. McCroom and Walker will lead a conversation that reveals how healing trauma can unlock economic opportunity for historically marginalized communities. The conversation will highlight the importance of community healing and care, shared stories, and relational support in building stronger, more resilient neighborhoods.
