Cleaning out as summer wraps up? FYZICAL Bedford (200 Great Road, Suite 11—plaza across from CVS) is hosting a Household Goods Collection Drive from Sept. 15–26, M–F, 8–5 pm. We’re collecting pots, pans, baking dishes, sheets, and blankets — new or gently used only (please, no stains or tears).

Donations support Household Goods, a nonprofit that provides free furniture and household items to help people in need make a home. Each year, the organization furnishes over 2,900 homes with 60,000 essential items.

September is also National Falls Prevention Awareness Month — FYZICAL Bedford specializes in balance rehabilitation and fall prevention, and will be sharing ways to “Fight the Fall” throughout the month, including a fun one-legged flamingo balance test.
