The Feast of Our Lady of Loreto

The Feast of Our Lady of Loreto in Lowell is an annual Portuguese festival held by the Holy Ghost Society of Lowell. It takes place over Labor Day weekend, featuring traditional Portuguese food, live music, a car show, and a procession. The celebration includes a mass and procession at St. Anthony’s Church followed by festivities at the Holy Ghost Society.

Food: Traditional Portuguese dishes like Favas, Feijao, Figado, Bifanas, Bacalhao Sandwiches, Sardinhas, Carne de Espeto, and Malassadas.
Entertainment: Live music performances nightly, including Nadia & Karma on Friday, Edge on Saturday, and Eratoxica on Sunday.
Car Show: A car show is scheduled for Saturday.
Religious: Mass and a procession at St. Anthony’s Church on Sunday morning.
Raffles and Kid’s Playground: The event includes raffles and activities for children.
