As the Executive Director of the Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, Brian brings 17 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. Born and raised in the Merrimack Valley, as was his wife and kids ( and now their grandkids) Brian’s has 5 generations of family who made the Merrimack Valley their home, after his great-great-grandfather came from Ireland to Lowell in 1885. Brian was the longtime News Director of local radio station WCAP, on air for more than a decade. Brian excelled as the Northeast Director for CTM Media Group for more than 12 years, a tourism marketing company, where he ensured the growth of customers ‘businesses through tourism.
Fun Fact: Brian and his wife rescued their cat Charlie—a striking Norwegian Forest Cat—from the streets of Lowell. Now a beloved (and hefty) member of the family, Charlie weighs in at nearly 30 pounds and carries herself like the queen of the household. Regal, fluffy, and a little dramatic, she’s living proof that Revolutionary Valley is full of unexpected treasures.
