Revolutionary Valley Community Care

Together, We Take Care of Each Other

Revolutionary Valley Community Care is bringing our communities together through compassion and action. In these unprecedented times, our community is being tested in ways we haven’t seen since the Great Depression. With federal food-aid benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) expected to lapse beginning November 1 due to funding disruptions, the need for collective support has never been greater.

That’s why we’ve created Revolutionary Valley Community Care — a regional effort to support our neighbors through mutual aid and compassion. We’ve compiled a comprehensive list of food pantries across the Revolutionary Valley, and we invite everyone to help by donating not only non-perishable foods but also essential care items.

Food pantries need more than food. They also need care. Items like sanitary products (for women and people who menstruate), incontinence supplies for older adults, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, and other hygiene essentials make a real difference for families and individuals across our communities.

Our Revolutionary Valley Visitor Center — located at 115 Merrimack Street, Lowell, MA — is now serving as a local drop-off point for donations. Anyone is welcome to stop by and contribute what they can.

This is about living our values. It’s about practicing community care — standing together in a time when too many are being left behind. This is only the beginning. In the weeks ahead, Revolutionary Valley will continue to grow this effort, creating more ways for our region to care for one another and ensure that no one goes without.

Together, we’ll get through this. Together, we’ll make sure the Revolutionary Valley remains what it has always been — a place where care, courage, and connection lead the way.
